TARKETT is Hiring a Quality Laboratory Technician Near Middlefield, OH
- Execute laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures
- Test incoming raw materials as needed and make decisions based on those results
- Correcting out of specification batches and communicating corrections to the Production Team
- The position will also be cross trained as a Colorist for the facility
- Education: Degree in Science is preferred
- Experience: 1 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment (rubber or plastics environment a plus)
- Ability to operate equipment in a laboratory environment; rubber or plastics laboratory experience is beneficial
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions, percentages, and ratios) in different units of measurement for tested batches of material
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
